Becky and I helped her sister buy a new TV this weekend.
After I hooked it all up I could not hold out anymore… time to retire my 27″ Sony TV that I purchased in 1994.
I really wanted to go LCD but prices are still a bit high for me, so I “settled” for Plasma which was much less expensive for the size.

My final purchase was a Panasonic 50″ Plasma from Costco.
For the $$ I thought it was a good deal, especially since Costco includes 2 year warranty.

Im just waiting for DirectTV to install the upgraded Sat Dish.

Here is a picture of Noby looking for the TV 😉

And the TV… eventually I would like to mount it on the wall.

I figure since I have a decent internet connection and lots of irreplaceable baby pictures I should be more proactive with backups.

Niels organized a fun Guy’s night at this house while the Ms. was out of town.

Cars always find the best time to take a shit hu?

Keith’s car was having some major Brake problems, so I decide to lend my Jeep to him for a day while Keith’s car is in the shop. What hapenes next? Keith gets in my Jeep and the brake pedel drops to the floor!!!!!!

The next day I check under the hood and discover all of my steel brake lines are rusted to hell and one finally burst. I have cars as old as 1993 and it’s brake lines looks just fine.

I found a set of pre-bent with all of the ends attached stainless steel brake lines for $180 on the ineternet.
