I think this past weekend sealed the deal that we are now officially Adults.
(well of course the baby, but that does not happen for a few months)
Yes I am over 30 but Becky will turn 30 on the 13th.
What does she get for a Birthday gift??
Jewelry? Bowling Ball? Another iPod??? NOOOOOOOO
That’s right! A NEW COUCH! As strange as it sounds, she is crazy excited about it! And I don’t think I could ever top what Becky did for my 30th party… this will do. HA HA HA.
SO, today I spent 4hrs disassembling my command center for transport to the other side of the living room.. Cleaning, rewiring, snaking wires into the basement…all on a VERY important timeline.. 9PM! So I can watch Heroes!
8:55pm… the last plug was plugged and all that needed to be done was a final acoustical setup.
Everything sounds great! and somehow I always end up with a good 25% less wires than before. Once the couch is installed (Thursday) I can finish my mega home-entertainment setup… I still need to find a good place for my 600w SubWoofer. Becky still does not realize how speakers MUST be placed in relation to the monitor or projector screen! and how furniture placement will alter the sound.. uuggh girls.. “It all sounds the same to me” lol

A memorial will be held at the Ashihara’s this weekend for the old couch, she has given us 10 years of service…lots and lots and lots and lots of service. But will move on to a new adventure in PA as the official couch of Bill’s new Recording studio! Where im sure it will see LOTS of action.
